Thanks about the camera information! I am going to look that up. I think it's such a great idea to take shots along the trails. I was actually thinking today that this would also be neat while training, since I tend to go out on different routes when I have long runs. What a fun way to journal the training part of a marathon. Maybe I'll try it on Saturday :0)

Hooray for tri training! It took me 2 years to finally find a stroke that worked for me so that I would actually like swimming (before I was getting headaches and nauseousness -- just hated it!). Glad to read you already love swimming!

Anyway, to answer your question about cameras while running, I just use a small digital camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-W80). The main thing to get is image stabilization so that your pictures will still likely come out even while bouncing and running. I just carry mine in my Fuel Belt holster instead of one of the water bottles (have a lightweight felt pouch for it so it doesn't get too sweaty). It fits perfectly and with a little practice taking pictures is nearly as easy as just drinking from a water bottle!

Have fun!!!
